Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.
All tickets include admission to the current exhibition and projection show, the exhibition on the history of the gas boiler and a visit to the Skywalk at a height of 70 meters.

Pupils, students, guests with NRW volunteer card, unemployed (ALG II), volunteers, people on social welfare on presentation of certificates at the ticket office, groups of 10 or more. As well as severely disabled persons from GdB 50 (the accompanying person with an ID with mark B has free admission). Already discounted tickets cannot be further reduced.

Flex and gift tickets

All the tickets shown above are also available as flex or gift tickets. The gift ticket is valid for two years from the date of purchase, regardless of the current exhibition and show. The flex ticket is valid until the end of the current exhibition and show. Both are independent of visiting days and times or time slots.
Combination ticket with Gasometer

Until 25.11.2025, the Gasometer is presenting the fascinating beauty of the world’s oceans and their diverse life forms with “Planet Ocean”. The innovative show takes you into the little-known depths of this complex ecosystem. With the combined ticket, you can experience the new exhibition in the Gasometer and the show and exhibition “Vincent van Gogh – Longing” at the Visiodrom for the combined price of €22 instead of €29 for the individual prices. The visits can take place on different days and at times of your choice.
Combined ticket with Von der Heydt-Museum

The combined ticket includes a one-off visit to the current exhibition at the Von der Heydt-Museum in Wuppertal and the current projection show and exhibition at the Visiodrom.

Accompanying teachers have free admission. Visits and guided tours are possible by prior arrangement as part of an exclusive opening on all days and at almost all times. Please register in advance at info@visiodrom.de. We will be happy to issue tickets on site on the day of the visit.

Services
All tickets include the show, the exhibition and a visit to the Skywalk at a height of 70 m with a fantastic view over Wuppertal and the surrounding area.
The purchase of a day ticket in our online ticket store is linked to a time slot to be selected. You can see the show once or several times within the booked time slot. The show at the Visiodrom starts every 37 minutes. A countdown shows the time until the start of the next show throughout the building, on our website and, if you wish, on your cell phone. This allows you to choose the order of the attractions during your visit to the Gaskessel and decide for yourself which show you want to see.

RTC holders do not need to buy an online ticket. You can come directly to the box office. Pre-registration is not necessary, as we always have a free contingent available for RUHR.TOPCARD holders.
50% discount with
the RuhrKultur.Card
On presentation of the RuhrKultur.Card, the discount can be redeemed directly on site at the box office. It is not necessary to purchase an online ticket.
