The time has come: on October 9 at 3 p.m., the city library and the Visiodrom will present the largest picture book cinema that Wuppertal – and perhaps even Europe – has ever seen. This extraordinary event invites families to experience the fascination and genius of Leonardo da Vinci in a completely new way. Based on the current show at the Visiodrom, vivid images from Leonardo da Vinci’s life and creative works will be shown on the giant 360° screen. At the same time, the book “The Mysterious World of Leonardo da Vinci”, written by Christine Schulz-Reiss and illustrated by Paolo Friz, will be read aloud. Jennifer Riethmüller, project manager of the city library, emphasizes the uniqueness of the event: “The combination of impressive children’s literature with the grandiose show and light effects of the Visiodrom creates an incomparable reading experience for young visitors.” In addition to the reading, participants will have the chance to experience the “Leonardo da Vinci – uomo universale” show afterwards and explore the spectacular skywalk of the 65-metre-high steel building.
