One reading, two shows: author Tanja Heinze invites you to a crime reading at VISIODROM
Murder at the VISIODROM! During the ongoing show HUMANS, a well-known lawyer from Wuppertal is found dead. The cause: an overdose of heroin. Based on the evidence, the police assume it was suicide. But Mathilde Krähenfuß from Wuppertal is not left in peace by the supposed suicide. She investigates on her own initiative.
Tanja Heinze presents new “Krähenfuß” thriller
With her investigator Mathilde Krähenfuß, author Tanja Heinze has created a Bergisch Miss Marple who has already solved five criminal cases in her home town of Wuppertal. Her latest mission in the novel “Dreamcatcher” now takes the amateur detective to VISIODROM, among other places – and she soon gets caught up in a maelstrom of rituals, Native Americans, circus and fashion worlds and fantastic art.
When fiction and reality merge
On November 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., visitors can experience just how exciting it all is at first hand at a reading in the VISIODROM. The author will not only be presenting passages from her new crime novel. In fact, she will immerse visitors in her story like never before, because this time the fictional crime scene and the venue are identical. So goosebumps are already pre-programmed.
Immersive crime thriller experience
But the reading experience goes one step further. The novel is accompanied by five photographs of the locations and the works of the artist couple Isa and Markus Heinemann, who have breathed life into the characters in “Traumfänger”. Of course, these visual impressions should not be missed in the VISIODROM. On the huge circular projection screen, the central plot locations take shape before the eyes of the visitors during the reading and they meet the most important characters of the local thriller.
Double show by HUMANS and MONET for the first time
As an additional treat, the two shows HUMANS and “MONET – Rebel and Genius” will be shown for the first time in a double bill around the reading. HUMANS uses impressive images to depict the connection between the last indigenous peoples and nature, while the current MONET show brings the works of the famous artist to life in a unique way.
Question and signing session
What would a reading be without direct contact with the author? That’s why visitors can ask Tanja Heinze questions at the end of the evening and purchase “Traumfänger” in both hardcover and paperback at a special price. The hardcover will then cost only 20 euros instead of 23.90, the softcover only 12 euros instead of 14.99. Tickets for the reading are available now for 17 euros in advance from Wuppertal Live.
