In addition to the annual focus exhibitions, the Visiodrom also offers creative space for other cultural projects.

The Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen has stood for interdisciplinary cultural achievements for almost 100 years. The Institute for Computer Music and Electronic Media, ICEM for short, has been a regular guest at the Visiodrom Wuppertal for two years with its Folkwang Immersives series. Students, graduates and professors use the unique building for immersive work on sound in a space that is transformed by projections.

On 4 June, the students of Prof. Dietrich Hahne, Professor of Composition and Visualization, will present their work in a public performance. The one-hour program features four world premieres and one revival.

This is certainly a very interesting event for all lovers of digital and innovative art. A visit is worthwhile and gives the work of the students and professors the attention it deserves.
