Goosebumps twice at the Visiodrom: exciting reading and projection show

An abandoned barracks, curious photographers and a group of rioters are the ingredients of Jens Boele’s thriller “Urbex Predator”. The Bochum-based author’s title and book allude to the urban exploration trend (Urbex for short), in which people are attracted to abandoned buildings. The snapshot is a must-have trophy. The Bochum native is now presenting his exciting story in a visually stunning way at a reading in the Visiodrom. To further intensify the atmosphere, atmospheric shots of lost places will be projected onto the screens. Goosebumps are guaranteed!

Reading with Lost Places photo competition

Have you taken your own eerie pictures of lost places? Very good! Because we have launched a photo competition to coincide with the reading. The best entries will appear in the Visiodrom on the really big screen (120×47 meters) and thus form the atmospheric background for “Urbex Predator”. Simply send your pictures to“foto@visiodrom.de”by May 15 or post them on Instagram with the hashtag #urbexvisiodrom.

The best pictures will be shown on the gigantic screen during the reading and 20 free tickets will be raffled off among the photographers by May 15.

As we are sure that Boele will get your pulse racing, we would like to treat you to a somewhat quieter conclusion to the evening – but even this will give you goosebumps, we promise! Because with “Monet – Rebel and Genius”, she will enchant you with the unique world of paintings by the father of Impressionism. And by the way, we are sure that Monet would have been an Urbex fan too.
