‘Amazing Urban Art’ is a declaration of love for urban art. Linz Harbor is home to Europe’s largest graffiti and mural art gallery. The Mural Harbor is also one of the world’s largest areas for free urban art. The huge outdoor gallery has become one of the centers of global subculture. Huge murals by renowned international graffiti artists are displayed in the public space of the Linz harbor. For over a decade, the Mural Harbor Gallery has become a popular destination for graffiti writers, street artists and muralists from all over the world. Hundreds of murals and graffiti can be experienced on a total area of 135 hectares, some of which cover areas of over 500 m2 – urban art in king-size format. Media artist Heinrich Brinkmöller-Becker visited Mural Harbor with his camera. A loving homage to this ephemeral art form has been created from the photos taken during a visit there in 2022. In his animated projection show, Brinkmöller-Becker also shows areas of the gallery that no longer exist today. Because the laws of the road also apply in Mural Harbor.
